Threads Video Downloader for Android

No app to install — this tool runs entirely in your Android browser. Paste a public post link below to get started.

We don't ask for your Threads password or account credentials.

Using This Tool on Android

  1. Open the Threads app, find your post, and tap the share icon to copy its link.
  2. Switch to Chrome, Samsung Internet, or Firefox and open this page.
  3. Paste the link into the input field and tap “Download Video.”
  4. Tap the download button on the preview card to save the file.

Where does the file go?

By default, Android browsers save downloads to your device's Downloads folder, accessible from the Files app or your browser's download manager (usually the download icon in the top-right of the address bar).

Browser permissions

If a download doesn't start, check that your browser has permission to download files — this is occasionally blocked by battery-saver or data-saver modes on some Android devices.

Android Browser Differences

BrowserDownload behavior
ChromeShows a download notification in the status bar; file lands in Downloads
Samsung InternetDownloads appear in the built-in Samsung My Files app under Downloads
FirefoxAccessible from the in-browser downloads panel as well as the Downloads folder

All three work equally well with this tool — pick whichever is already installed on your device.

Moving a Video into Your Gallery

Downloads land in the Downloads folder, not automatically in your Gallery/Photos app. To move one over, open your Files app, find the video under Downloads, and use the “Move” or “Share > Save to Gallery” option — most Android file managers support this directly without needing a separate app.
